On Thursday, November 28, 2019, Debra (Debbie) Lee Hewson (Brown), loving daughter, sister, wife and mother of two children, passed away at age 56.

Debbie was born on September 13, 1963 in Grand Junction, CO to Gerald and Donna (Benson) Brown. She was raised in Williston, ND where she met and married Earlen Hewson and had a daughter Lacey Hewson. Widowed she moved around until she settled in Tacoma, WA near her parents. There she had her son David Lange and married Joe Cooper.

Debbie had a heart of gold. She was always reaching out helping others those that were less fortunate. Those that were unlovable, those that were seeing hard times or just down and out or in a bad way. Debbie was the Good Samaritan that looked beyond all faults, opened her hand and heart lifting them up taking them in loving them regardless of the outcome. She not only watched over and restored human beings back to life she also did the same with animals. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally, supporting them with love and deeds in all their endeavors. She will always be known for her infectious smile and kind compassionate spirit.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Gerald, his mother and father, William and Mildred Campbell, her Grandma Ada Marshall, her husband's Earlen Hewson and Joe Cooper, Aunt Bonnie Brookhouse (Campbell), Uncle Bud Brown and Uncle Bobby Campbell.

She is survived by her mother, Donna, her two children, daughter, Lacey and her children, Christopher, Leilani (Jacob) and Justin and son, David (Beth) Lange and their children, Keianna, Larissa, Lydia, Lizzy, Lacey and Kailee; her stepson, Blane Cooper and his children, TayTay and Blane Jr., her brother, Dan (Penny) Brown and their children, Kelly, Shandi, Anthony, Colton and William; sister, Veronica Brown.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the spring of 2020.
