Jay A. LePage, 57, of Williston, passed away at the Trinity Medical Center in Minot on Tuesday morning, May 7, 2019.
Jay Allan LePage was born in Williston, ND on November 8, 1961 to Kenneth and Maryann (Hendrickson) LePage.
Jay graduated from Kindergarten on May 22, 1968 at First Lutheran Church. He attended grade school at Rickard Elementary until 1974. He was a part of Cub Scouts #378 where he made many friends and participated in numerous activities. Jay attended Jr. High until 1976 and went on to graduate from Williston High School on May 29, 1980.
On October 19, 2005, he was united in marriage to Colleen Marie Azure in Williston, ND.
Jay was working for Roserock Midstream at the time of his passing. Over the years, he held various jobs working in the oilfield, Mercy Hospital Mental Health, Plum Building and Herman Oil.
He was a member of the American Legion, Cub Scouts Pack 378, and the National Guard.
His main interest in life was the love for his wife, Colleen. His hobbies included his enjoyment with his Sporty and his Fat Boy, riding, hunting, fishing, camping and listening to music and his Jack Daniels. Jay also looked forward to his weekly batch of chocolate chip or oatmeal, raisin and walnut cookies. Jay did not know a stranger and believed strangers were friends we have yet to meet. According to his nephew, Kiel, and many others, he was legend.
Jay is survived by his wife, Colleen; daughter Jackie LePage of Williston; Ryan (Azure) Glenn; parents, Kenny and Maryann of Worden, MT; sister Joyce (Jeff) Harstad of Williston; brother Jess LePage of Worden, MT; grandchildren Kaine and Gracie of Williston; mother-in-law and father-in-law Gloria and Al Azure of Mesa, AZ; brothers-in-law Craig (Alice) Azure of Ashland, NE and Monte Azure of Mesa, AZ; special nephew Kiel Azure and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends. Jay is also survived by his beloved dog, Oscar.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and brother-in-law Steve Azure.
