Leonard “Lenny” Bratlien, 65, of Williston, North Dakota, passed away Sunday night, June 24, 2018 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Leonard Allan Bratlien was born on November 12, 1952 to Lloyd and Grace (Johnson) Bratlien in Williston, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Williston, graduating from Williston High School in 1970.
Lenny was a lifetime farmer and truck driver. He drove for Bull Shipper Express. He belonged to the Allied Master Movers and the NRA. He was the president of his self -proclaimed Knuckle Head Motorcycle Club. In his younger days he enjoyed Bull and Bronc riding. In recent years he enjoyed his 3:00 Coffee at Lonnie’s, hunting trips, and riding his Harley Davidson. He was proud of his hunt to Canada, where he shot a Bison. He also harvested a bear in Idaho and Montana.
Wherever he went, his dog, Festus went with him. Lenny loved spending time with his children and his eleven grandchildren. He was proud of each of them and enjoyed watching them at all of their various activities. Lenny will be greatly missed by all of his family.
He is survived by his son, Dustin (Karla) Bratlien and their children, Brooks, Ryker and Brener; daughter, Courtney, and her children, Nevaeh, Boston, Zuri, Rogan, BreAsia and Hendrix; daughter, Kallie and her children, Heartley and Jurzi; his best friend, Festus; and numerous other family members.
Lenny was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Grace Bratlien.
