His Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 Am on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at New Hope Wesleyan Church in Williston. Rev. Aaron Case will officiate.


Visitation

Friends may call at Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM and for the hour preceding the service at the church on Wednesday.

Cemetery

Interment in Riverview Cemetery will follow the funeral service.

Timothy Theige, 60, of Epping, passed away at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center in Williston on Wednesday afternoon, August 16, 2017.

Timothy R. Theige was born on February 14th 1957 to Mike and Phyllis (Gocanhour) Theige in Williston, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Williston, and graduated High School in 1975. Tim married Shelly O’Neill on July 8th, 1977 in Williston, North Dakota.

Tim worked for Noble Drilling for several years, and then went on to continue schooling in Wahpeton for small engine repair. He finished with a masters in Marine mechanics from Detroit Lakes Minnesota. He worked at Vallelys Truck and Marine then later opened His own shop Tim's Small Engine Repair. He also worked as a mechanic for G&L Trucking and at the parts counter at Bumper to Bumper in True Value. He also substitute taught at Williston High School and at the Trenton High School. He returned to his true calling the oilfield as Drilling and Completion consultant then later started his own company of TRT Consulting, until 2014 when his health no longer allowed him to work. However; his favorite job of all was being Papa.

Tim loved working in his shop at home, whether it was rebuilding a Camaro with his son to fixing fishing poles with his grandkids. His last project that he got the opportunity to do was rebuild his Harley Davidson Trike. He loved fishing and hunting and spending time with his family whether it was on family trips or just relaxing at home watching TV.

Surviving Tim are his wife, Shelly Theige; son, Tim Theige of Springbrook, ND; daughters, Trisha (Cliff) Dixon of Epping, ND, Shelby Theige of Epping, ND; brothers Wes (Jan) Theige of Williston, ND, Mike (Linda) Theige of Dwight, IL; sisters, Sonya Iverson of Williston, ND, Sue (Rick) Phlug of Williston, ND; grandchildren, Tate, Jocelynn, and Hunter Theige, Colton, Cheyenne, Mikayla, and Jolene Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Tim in death were his father, Mike Theige; mother, Phyllis Iverson; stepfather, Jim Iverson; grand-daughter, Miranda May Theige; and long-time friend and brother-in- law, Woody Woodward.
