I remember briefly "dating" Geno back in high school. I have nothing but sweet, fond memories of our time together. While it was short , it's those small moments in life that make us aware of how short life is. We had only reconnected via FB last year and it was good to hear from him.
Sweet dreams, Geno. The world is not the same without you.

Harry AND DEE AND FAMILIES,
I am so sorry for the loss of your brother.
He and I as you know go way back. It wasn't until your Mom's funeral that we had layed eyes on each other since we graduated. Ever since that day we vowed to stay in touch. That we did.I am saddened to say that the last time we talked was either June 12 or 14th. That was the day that he told me that hospice had been called.I wished he well an told him that I still loved him and he told me the same.
I will never forget that day or him.
I know that he is in peace now and with your Mom and Dad and Kevin.
Please know that I will be thinking of you.

To my Uncle Geno: We didn’t get to see each other very often but when we did it was special! You were loved! I’m so thankful you got to meet my husband Matt in person. You looked so much like Papa, and we would always look forward to when you would call on Christmas!
Now living in North Idaho I know why you loved this territory so much!
I think of you when I see the mountains here.
“Some souls are stationary and find peace in staying put.
Other souls find peace and freedom in adventures and change
Who is to say one way of living is superior to the other.
This world would not be balanced if all were the same!”

From 1986 to 1990 Gene and I were married. Together we brought a wonderful little boy into this world. It was Genes quick wit and charm that was the attraction and I am blessed to see those traits in Sean Monroe. My heart aches for you son, but just know ...I loved you then and I love you even more now.......Hugs to you as take this walk down memory lane. To Dee and Harry ...I would like to say, I knew you when....Thanks for sharing both brothers with me. You and your families have my deepest sympathy.

Our deepest condolences to the entire family & friends of Geno. We are deeply sadden in hearing about the loss of Geno. He was just fantastic guy, genuinely kind and caring man with a heart gold. He will be sorely missed and we will miss that wonderful laugh. If there's any solace, he's in a better place and now reunited with his Mom, Dad and his brother Kevin! As your brother Dee would affectionately say, RIP "pizza face" were going to miss you my brother.

Geno was a great family friend and co-worker. We got to know him while working together in North Dakota. He always had a cheesy grin, and made work fun. He was a hard worker and was not afraid to tackle any task given him. Even though we left ND a few years ago, we kept in touch with each other. He was always upbeat and never complained about his health. He was an example to us in several ways. We are saddened by his passing and will miss him, but we know he is pain free and living in a more peaceful place. We look forward to when we will see him again.
